Hi there. I’m Tamar, an editor and communication strategist.
My background is multidisciplinary: I write and edit for diverse genres, styles, and contexts. This means I get to the root of what you want to say and how you want to say it, while honoring what makes your project unique.
With a Master’s Degree in English and experience working on literary magazines, corporate messaging, scholarly articles, and more, I’ve noticed that institutions like traditional book publishing and academia don’t provide a warm welcome to all writers. Rigid genre conventions, old-school formalities, and downright snobbishness can bar your fresh ideas from getting the recognition they deserve.
That’s why I’m passionate about helping writers publish on their own terms. Self-publishing has proven itself to be a valid avenue to finding financial success, literary agents, and traditional book deals.
